It may seem unbelievable, but one of the most widely used social networks, and possibly the most appreciated by professionals, still did not have the possibility of uploading videos natively, that is, directly from the application on mobile devices.
If we take a quick look at the rest of the social networks, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram… it is easy to see that all of them, in one way or another, have already implemented this improvement. The power of video is growing every day; however, 2016 was the year in which we gave less “weight” to reading blogs (for the first time in history, the average daily number of minutes spent reading fell). Much of the blame lies with the proliferation of video.
Videos uploaded to LinkedIn natively will play automatically when browsing the feed , and in principle, they can be recorded for a maximum of 10 minutes , although it is very likely italy telegram data that the time will increase once this new possibility is established. Just as with the profile viewing statistics panel, LinkedIn will give access to a statistics panel for videos, where it will provide information on total views, positions and companies from which they have been viewed, etc.
Videos can be recorded horizontally or vertically, depending on the interests of users…
But this is not the only new feature that will appear in the coming months on LinkedIn; soon, Spanish-speaking users will have the “Write Article” tab , where they can write reflections, proposals, recommendations… as a blog post, and allowing them to share them on other social networks (another panel will tell us the number of shares and views).
As you can see, the professional social network par excellence has realized the old saying “renew or die” , and not only in terms of interface design, but also when it comes to implementing new tools and possibilities that imply greater interaction and more advantages for its users.
Be careful what you post. Wednesday night (it doesn’t matter because they are on vacation), one “mojito” too many, and eureka!, the “cuñaity manager” vein wakes up and they want to publish how good they are at that moment… Maintain the publication philosophy that has given you so many good results to date. Leave the “sausage photos” (you know, of your legs in the sand), the “glass with ice” or the “fried fish” photos for your personal profiles, and not for your professional accounts…
