Suchard Christmas 2022 Announcement

Post by jrine »

I admit that the Suchard advert for this Christmas is a very nice piece…

Created by the Ogilvy Agency , which worked with screenwriter Alicia Luna, “The First Christmas” tells how a family spends the anniversary without a fundamental pillar of the event, the grandmother.

As is well known, Christmas is a time of year when we always like to be with family, eat together, meet friends... On this occasion, the well-known nougat brand sets up a very typical scene, one of those that come sooner or later, but they come, which is none other than when it is time to celebrate Christmas in the absence of a loved one.

Everything seems to be a disaster in the preparation of the typical Christmas dinner… The decorations for the tree are missing, the recipe for the meal was something very personal to the deceased…

To make matters worse, and with all the hustle and bustle , the family forgets a detail that the grandmother always had in that family gathering, but something india telegram mobile phone number list unexpected happens that puts an end to the problem.

Personally, I think they've come very close to reality. The scenes are well-crafted, the dialogues are somewhat forced or artificial, but the story, being so common, manages to reach the viewer.

As I have mentioned on occasion, and not only after seeing this Suchard Christmas advert, it seems that if advertising does n't make you cry, it's useless.

I like it, I think it hits the nail on the head, but I either throw out a reflection or I get into a puddle:

Does a good Christmas ad have to be tearful?
I often wonder about this, I stop to think that maybe we should do like Campofrío, mixing concepts of tradition with humor (they have not done badly).
